Milena Monteiro is a Brazilian designer who graduated in Industrial Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) - the second best design course in Brazil according to the QS World University Rankings.

The subject of social design had a great influence on her education while at university and, even today, she seeks to develop projects that serve as a tool for social change, highlighting the role of the designer in this area.

In 2021, she started her master's thesis which aims to use interaction design to create an exhibition capable of stimulating empathy for immigrants.
