Mariana has a degree in Visual Arts and Technology from Lisbon School of Education (ESELx) and is student of a Master’s degree in Interaction Design from Faculdade de Arquitetura of Universidade de Lisboa (FAUL). 

She’s doing her master’s degree thesis about cemetery tourism in Cemitério dos Prazeres in Lisbon, a subject that has so much to develop and discover, especially when history and art contained in one of the most beautiful monuments in that cemetery, called Jazigo dos Duques de Palmela, will join multi-sensory and immersive experiences using Virtual Reality. The main objective is to give the visitor of Cemitério dos Prazeres an unforgettable virtual experience, in a different and remarkable virtual visit that can be adapted to other virtual experiences in the area of Interaction Design and Virtual Reality.
