Description: Elisângela is graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE - Brazil, 1997), Ergonomics specialist (UFPE - Brazil, 2002) and PhD in Ergonomics from Universidade de Lisboa (FMH/UL, 2012), with the theme related to the use of virtual reality in the study of the influence of environmental variables on wayfinding in complex buildings. She participated as a researcher in projects funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology - FCT ("Using Virtual Reality to Evaluate the Safety Information Effectiveness - PTDC / PSI / 69462/2006" and "Future safety warnings - Virtual Reality in the study of technology-based and European Community funds (e-Exhibitions - eten517335 and AAL4ALL project - QREN No. 13852). She is currently an effective member of CIAUD. Her main areas are the study of human interactions with complex systems through virtual environments, usability and user experience, with an emphasis on architecture and interior design.
