Carlos Paixão is a Portuguese Designer. His goal as designer is to make everyone’s daily life a little simpler and easier. Graduated in Communication and Media by the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Carlos is currently attending the Master’s course in Interaction Design at the Lisbon School of Architecture (FA, Universidade de Lisboa).

Researcher in the Center of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design (CIAUD), Ergonomics Laboratory and User Experience (ergoUX Lab). Carlos has a special interest in exploring the Human senses and the multisensoriality in immersive virtual environments. His Master’s final project investigative topics are: multisensory stimuli, performance, emotions and the use of data collectors, such as biosensores, in Virtual Reality.

Minimalism is the philosophy behind Carlos’ design style. The idea is to always make intentional and meaningful decisions when thinking about or working on a project.

Usually, Carlos spends his free time playing piano, creating 3D art, playing video games, and eating sushi (the last two being the favourite ones).
